Tantalum wire
A kind of filamentous tantalum material is made from tantalum powder by rolling, drawing and other plastic processing methods. Tantalum wire is widely used in electronic industry and is mainly used as anode lead of tantalum electrolytic capacitor.

manufacturing method
Powder metallurgy
The technological process is as follows: raw material (tantalum powder) → mixing → forming → vertical melting → rotary forging → intermediate annealing → drawing → finished product annealing → quality inspection → packaging and warehousing.
Smelting process
The technological process is as follows: raw material (tantalum powder) → mixing → forming → pre sintering → electron beam melting → precision forging → intermediate annealing → rotary forging → intermediate annealing → drawing → annealing of finished products → quality inspection → packaging and warehousing.
classification
It can be classified according to its chemical purity, performance, use and state.
According to the chemical purity, it can be divided into three categories: (1) Metallurgical tantalum wire with purity of 99.0% ta; (2) high purity tantalum wire with purity of 99.0% - 99.9% ta; (3) ultra-high purity tantalum wire with purity of 99.9% - 99.99% ta.
It can be divided into four categories according to their properties: (1) chemical corrosion resistant tantalum wire; (2) high temperature resistant high strength tantalum wire; (3) oxygen resistant brittle tantalum wire; (4) capacitor tantalum wire.
Tantalum wires for capacitors can be divided into three categories according to their applications: (1) tantalum wires for solid tantalum electrolytic capacitors (sdta1, sdta2) (see Chinese national standard GB / T 26012-2010); (2) tantalum wires for lead wires of liquid tantalum electrolytic capacitors (ldta1, ldta2) (see Chinese national standard GB / T 26012-2010); (3) tantalum wires for capacitors with reliability index (see Chinese national military standard gjb2511-95).
According to the state, tantalum wires can be divided into three types: (1) soft state (m), tensile strength σ B = 300 ~ 600MPa; (2) semi hard state (Y2), tensile strength σ B = 600 ~ 1000MPa; (3) hard state (y), tensile strength σ B > 1000MPa.
